Mich Fisher is a visual designer, branding consultant, and copywriter with over twenty-five years of experience in high-end design, marketing, and branding.
With a background in luxury sales, residential design and project management, she established Plastic Hassle—a Hollywood-based boutique production and design studio specializing in creative independent professionals and brands—with her husband Jim in 2005. As a freelance marketing and branding consultant, she’s designed and managed websites, visual branding, social media, email marketing, as well as catalog and ad design for indie alt fashion label Lip Service, along with launching, editing, and managing their online magazine. She’s also managed visual branding and promotional marketing for L.A. studio and underground destination Studio Servitù, independent film distributor Cinevolve, and select independent models, performers, and creators.
With a diverse client base in the fashion, entertainment and creative industries, Mich’s works reflect the varied needs and expectations of the desired target audience. But, regardless of style, she designs all projects with the same goal: an evocative image with clean, elegant lines and clear genre recognition for maximum impact and engagement.
Currently, Mich collaborates with independent authors to design their book covers and series branding while working on her own independent creative projects.
When she’s not working, she can usually be found exploring Downtown L.A. or in her kitchen whipping up food experiments. A lifelong avid cook and recipe writer, she loves trying new cuisines and techniques. And now that she’s taken up diabetic-friendly baking and heart-healthy cooking, she plans to start a blog to share all her new recipes with others who are also lightening up their food for the people they love.
